Real Property Law

We’ll handle your real estate matters.

Our firm has handled a wide variety of real estate matters, including litigation. Currently, we are involved in groundbreaking litigation,  Sullivan v. Max Spann Real Estate et al. which involves the issue of whether attorney review should be required for properties purchased at auction. The Appellate Division’s published decision in  Sullivan is currently on appeal before the New Jersey Supreme Court. Both the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New Jersey Realtor’s Association are participating as amici curiae “friends of the Court” in this precedential case.

We have handled other types of litigation involving real estate, including disputes between neighbors over cut-down trees and property lines, and matters involving Homeowners’ Associations (HOAs) and condominium associations.

If you rent your property, for residential or commercial space, we can prepare suitable and statute-compliant leases for you. If the need to evict a tenant arises, we can prepare the proper notices and, in addition, represent you in Landlord-Tenant Court should that become necessary.

We also handle land use and zoning matters, such as requests for variances or subdivision approval.
